ELYSBURG – To show appreciation to veterans in the 107th District for their service to our country, Rep. Kurt A. Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 8 a.m.

The breakfast will be held at the Elysburg Fire Company’s social hall, located at 1 East Mill St., in Elysburg. Veterans in the 107th District and their spouses are invited to attend.

“My staff and I will be preparing breakfast for the veterans in our area who put their lives on the line for our country’s freedom,” Masser said. “These men and women deserve to be thanked and appreciated every day, and this is our way to say thank you for all that they’ve done and to remind them that we serve as a local resource.”

Pre-registration is required for this event. Please call Masser’s district office at 570-648-8017 by Nov. 3 to confirm attendance.

Representatives from the offices of Veterans Affairs of Montour and Northumberland counties will be present to assist veterans at this event. Additionally, Masser hosts monthly Veterans Assistance Hours at his district office in Elysburg, on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
