ELYSBURG – Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) announced that he is hosting a Mini Sportsmen’s Expo for residents living in the 107th District on Thursday, May 17, at the Shamokin Knights of Columbus, 400 E. Independence St., Shamokin.

The doors will be open to the public at 5 p.m., and presentations from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Pennsylvania game and fish wardens, will commence at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Admission to the expo is free of charge, and door prizes will be given out.

In addition to the exhibitors that will be presenting, representatives from Fly Tying Heaven, Bait Barrels and Bows, and Martz Game Farm will also be in attendance, and will be available to answers questions and distribute additional information on their programs.

“We have a large number of men and women across the district who participate in hunting, fishing and other activities of the like,” said Masser. “With that, I want to provide them with a forum where they can gather information and learn about state and local programs related to outdoor sporting activities.”
