Masser Votes for 2017-18 State Budget
6/30/2017
HARRISBURG – Rep. Kurt A. Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) joined the majority of his House colleagues in voting in favor of a 2017-18 state budget plan on Friday. The budget spends $31.9 billion and includes no broad-based tax increases while it consolidates state government and provides for core services.

“This year’s budget plan is not only the product of bipartisan compromise, it also respects Pennsylvania taxpayers by not increasing taxes and puts us on a path for a sustainable future,” Masser said. “I was glad to see the General Assembly and the administration work together to create a fiscally responsible plan for our state and its citizens.”

House Bill 218 has been sent to the governor for his signature. For more information about the 2017-18 state budget plan, visit PAHouseGOP.com.
