Marijuana Legalization – What Do YOU Think?
Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman has been traveling across the state, asking Pennsylvanians whether or not they support the legalization of marijuana for recreational use. I want to know what you think.

Keep in mind this is not about medicinal marijuana. Pennsylvania law already allows residents with certain diseases and conditions to obtain a prescription from their doctor to obtain and use non-smokable forms of marijuana.

The question is whether or not marijuana should be legalized for purely recreational purposes.

Supporters Say: Supporters of marijuana legalization argue we should treat it like alcohol or cigarettes. Adults, they argue, should be free to enjoy it as they please as long as they aren’t disrupting anyone else’s life. They further say legalizing marijuana would enable law enforcement to focus on more serious crimes and result in lower prison populations, thereby saving taxpayers money.

Opponents Say: Those who oppose marijuana legalization argue the drug is dangerous and can serve as a gateway to even more dangerous and addictive drugs. They fear it would lead to more people driving under the influence of marijuana. They also fear legalization would lead to increased use of marijuana among teenagers and children.
