ELYSBURG – State Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) is changing the hours of operation at his district office in Elysburg after the Labor Day weekend.

“We’re always looking for better ways to serve local residents,” Masser said. “We noticed a real decline in the number of people who come at the end of the day, so we’re moving up our opening and closing times.”

Masser’s Elysburg office, located at 467 Industrial Park Road, will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be closed Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day. The new office hours will take effect Tuesday, Sept. 3. The office previously was open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Masser’s Danville office, located in suite 1 of the Danville Borough Building at 463 Mile St., will continue to be open Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Danville office also will be closed Monday, Sept. 2, for Labor Day.

“We hope more people will be able to stop in our offices on their way to work in the morning,” Masser said. “This change was driven by our ongoing desire to try to meet the needs of local residents.”
